Harvesting water lily flower in Mekong Delta

Every year during the end of the rainy season in Mekong Delta is also the harvesting season of water lily flower. In the early morning, after cut them from the flower field, the farmer transport them to the market by the small boat through the flooding rice field

In Vietnam beside decoration purpose, Water lily flower is also a kind of vegetable for soup or hotpot or making salad serving with pork or shrimp

This photo is just for photography purpose only, they spread the flowers on the rice field in flooding for photography, after that they continue transport them to the market
